Agroecological best practices in the Mediterranean
This section compiles a selection agroecological best practices identified within the framework of the PRIMA project “AgrEcoMed – New Agroecological Approach for Soil Fertility and Biodiversity Restoration to Improve Economic and Social Resilience of Mediterranean Farming Systems.”
The experiences presented demonstrate the contribution of agroecology to environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and the resilience of Mediterranean agricultural systems. Particular attention has been paid to initiatives led by women and young people, with the aim of highlighting their strategic role in fostering innovation, knowledge exchange, and the transition towards more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient agri-food systems.
