In the province of Rieti, the organic farm Tularù operates in an unspoiled natural setting where respect for the environment and the territory is both a core value and a practical guide for every production decision.
The farm was born from Miguel and Alessandra’s desire to provide their children with a healthier environment, with slower rhythms of life and closer contact with nature. The restoration of an old family farm allowed them to launch a project that protects the landscape while actively involving the local community. Tularù, the grandmother’s call to gather everyone at the table after a day working in the fields, today represents the heart of the project, where food is not only production but also relationship, sharing, and a sense of community.
The farm’s philosophy is rooted in the awareness that cultivating the land allows one to follow the entire food cycle, giving value to the product, the territory, and the community. Tularù cultivates by following the full food cycle: from the production of wheat, meat, and vegetables to the table, all while respecting the environment. Livestock is managed using Voisin rotational grazing, the vegetable garden follows regenerative agriculture principles, and Rieti wheat is harvested by hand during the Harvest Festival. The farm also employs ecological systems such as phytodepuration, rainwater harvesting, and key-line design to combat soil erosion.
Secondary activities aim to create a direct connection with consumers and visitors, sharing and promoting a message of care and attention toward the environment. Products are sold almost exclusively through direct channels, including home delivery and a few selected local points of sale.
Alongside production, Tularù organizes events, workshops, children’s weeks, and cultural activities with the goal of building a conscious, active community engaged in caring for the landscape.
