L’Oasi Farm is located in Vicchio, in the Mugello area, within an area of high landscape, agricultural, and cultural value. Established in 2011 as a family-run business, it promotes organic and agroecological farming based on the integration of livestock, crops, and biodiversity conservation. Covering 11 hectares, the farm cultivates olive groves with local varieties, mixed orchards and vegetables, raises cattle, sheep, and goats in compliance with animal welfare standards, and includes pastures as well as organic beekeeping.

Production, mainly marketed directly on the farm, includes honey, extra virgin olive oil, jams, chestnuts, and vegetables, all obtained without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, through practices such as crop rotation, composting, natural mulching, and sustainable soil management.

Alongside its productive activities, l’Oasi carries out an extensive and well-structured educational and social program through its registered educational and social farm. Since 2014, it has welcomed schools, children, people with disabilities, trainees, and beneficiaries of social care programs, offering experiential workshops, environmental education, summer camps, and seasonal activities linked to agricultural cycles. It collaborates with local authorities and municipalities in the Mugello area, as well as libraries and cultural centers, to ensure accessibility and inclusion and to promote open and participatory agriculture.

L’Oasi represents an example of applied agroecology capable of integrating agricultural production, environmental sustainability, education, and social inclusion, contributing to the vitality of the area and to sustainable rural development.
