Sviluppo Cereali Agricultural Company of Dileo Antonia & C. S.A.S. operates in the area of Altamura, in the heart of the Murgia area.

The company interprets agriculture not only as a productive activity, but as a tool for environmental protection, territorial stewardship, and the building of community relationships, actively engaging in the transition processes promoted by the Agroecological District of the Murge and Bradano.

A first-generation farm, it originates from a conscious choice to return to the land and to experiment with alternative agricultural models. The gradual reduction of the cultivated area, now amounting to 10 hectares, represents a strategic decision aimed at sustainability, quality of practices, and direct control of production processes. From the outset, the company has adopted an approach that respects natural cycles, evolving over time toward an agroecological vision that integrates agronomic, economic, social, and cultural dimensions.

The main activity is organic cereal production, with particular attention to local grains and evolutionary populations, such as Mischiglio and Organic Heterogeneous Material (OHM), characterized by high genetic biodiversity and adaptability to local conditions.

A key element of the company is its strong networking capacity, through collaboration with movements, universities, research institutions, and third-sector organizations, contributing to the development of fairer and more resilient local economies. Looking ahead, plans include the diversification of production as well as educational and community-based activities.
