BioLu Farm is located in Calvi, in the province of Benevento, in the heart of the Campanian Apennines.

The farm’s roots lie in the rural traditions of Irpinia and Sannio, a family heritage that today blends with innovation and sustainability. Since 2020, BioLu has been certified organic and has embarked on a path focused on the conservation of local germplasm, the valorisation of ancient cultivars, and the experimentation of regenerative agricultural practices, with the aim of restoring soil fertility and ensuring high-quality products.

The farm extends over 23 hectares, entirely organic, including arable land, olive groves, vegetable crops, medicinal plants, and forage. Agronomic management is based on crop rotations, grass cover, fallow areas, and minimum tillage to preserve soil structure and biodiversity. Notable crops include ancient wheats such as Senatore Cappelli and Saragolla, processed into organic pasta using stone milling, and traditional varieties such as Sedano di Gesualdo celery, enhanced through drying processes. The olive grove is integrated into a blockchain traceability system, ensuring transparency.

Secondary activities include processing laboratories, production of vegetable powders, and by-product recovery, following a circular economy approach. Direct sales, e-commerce, and educational outreach strengthen the farm’s connection with the territory. BioLu thus stands as an agroecological stronghold, integrating production, innovation, and social responsibility.
