The study highlighted the pivotal role these initiatives play in agroecological innovation, climate resilience, and the sustainable development of agricultural systems in the Mediterranean. Particular emphasis was placed on the empowerment of women and youth, the multifunctionality of agricultural holdings, and the establishment of local networks to promote the adoption of sustainable practices.
