The main objective of the AgrEcoMed project is to fill research gaps for the implementation of a biodiversity-based strategy for primary crops as cereal cultivation systems through an agroecological approach adapted to the environments of Mediterranean countries, efficient use of resources natural resources, pollution reduction, circular economy.  

This goal will be achieved through innovative approaches to support the sustainable production of staple foods in the scenario of present and future climate change.
