On May 18th, 2023 at 10:00 am, a farmer demonstration event of the AgrEcoMed project experimental trials took place at the Cooperativa La Generale of Potenza. 

The use of computerized technologies and site-specific agronomic criteria is combined with the development of new types of plants, ranging from innovative gluten-free cereals to a new variety of wheat for organic farming, to the evaluation of legumes for the characteristics of suitable roots to cultivation under climate change conditions. 

 The main objective of AgrEcoMed is to push the farmers of the Mediterranean Region to adopt new crop systems with greater biodiversity and new farming practices and technologies. The ongoing and final results of the project will be spread and made available at local, national, and international levels.
